It’s not the system I asked for, it’s the one somebody with lots of money paid for.
And if it had worked right when they paid for it the first time, they wouldn’t have to KEEP paying for it.

I’ll take a 6 or 8 year term with no re-election for Presidents just so you don’t have to listen to the campaign ads. I’d rather have someone I hate in office for 2 or 4 more years than listen to all the hype.
