It’s still broadcast. You still need an antenna, or two.

With antennae as long as those, somewhere there’s a need for him.

Since the ants’ TV is so small, they could just replace it with a cell phone that has the ap on it where one could watch TV programs on it.

Tim needed one of the digital converter boxes implanted in is body.

There is a verse in the Old Testament where it is stated “There is nothing new under the sun.”

In the “B.C” and “Wizard of Id” strips anything from the 21st Century AD can show up in them.

This one’s been a long time in coming. The digital age has probably left a lot of people in the dark. But they’re not missing much anyway.

“Kick your cousin out” implies that Tim is free-loading against their wishes.

“You can go home now” implies they have asked him to stay against his wishes.

    So, self-contradictory and un-amusing? Awesome…

crunk, I see it as the husband ant having kept Tim around against his wife’s wishes. The wife ant could tolerate Tim only while he was providing a useful service, and Tim was putting up with the wife’s hostility only for the same reason. The wife would see Tim’s departure as “kicking him out”, while Tim would see it as a welcome release.

Ants don’t really got trouble with their in-laws, but I’m given to understand that in the “B.C” and “Wizard of Id” strips anything from the 21st Century AD can show up in them.
