Is this BC? Oh, Hart didn’t want to be stuck in the rut.
Time for some savory stew as I see it. Lots of marbling potential in the hefty one!

This is more like something you’d see in Strange Brew, Speed Bump or even Rubes.
What has Herb been eating? How has he been able to survive for so long?

Out of character for this comic strip?
I think not. Lots of stuff from the 20th and 21st Century show up in the “B.C” and “Wizard of Id” comic strips.
The guys even go into a cave to watch football games on a TV. And there is a TV antenna on top of the hill over the cave, too.

@JAD : venison and signs were present at the time of Isaac.

Well Crunkbot, they did not smoke the grass in those days.

Couldn’t be him
If it was him
He would have signed it
Like Kilroy signed his
“Herb was here”.

I view B.C. as post-apocalyptic, as opposed to pre-historic. That’s the only way it can internally reconcile.

@crunkbot -
Nice - the bast of both worlds . TV and caves that have electricity. No DNR to mess up the buck population either.
Fat broad won’t make it past the apocalypse with her attitude or her attire.
