If my kids ever saw this they’d beg forever trying to get one. Paper mache over a real helmet? I’d earn a life time of brownie points for that.

Does anyone have a pattern for this? Halloween is coming.

somebodyshort: they make helmet skins that go over full face motorcycle helmets that keep the shape of the helmet but add graphics like skulls and ghost faces. They also for motorcyclye helmets make mohawks that attach to the top of the helmet. maybe they can be used on a kids helmet…?
look in the adds in the back of motorcycle magazines. i’ve also seen little attachable devil horns.

There wasn’t a whole lot to recycle in those days.

I wonder how can the caveman on the wheel see through that ‘dinosaur skull’ helmet while he is on the wheel? He will probably fall down on the ground clumsily.

A skull used as a helmet by a bonehead.

There used to be a shop in San Fransisco called
“Mandible and Metatarsal” where you could buy skulls
like that…real skulls of animals(for a steep price),
or plastic copies…don’t know if it’s still there….
“Trick or treat!”……
