B.C. uses a primitive hammer made of a stick and a rock and yet he uses paint in a modern metal paint can with a handle?
For some reason, I put “Peter” when I first posted this comment. I knew it was B.C.

Joe Allen Doty - Cartoon reality really messes with your mind, doesn’t it?

Who says that paint holder is metal? It could be rock, and the handle could be corded plants.

The red-haired guy is BC. Peter is the blond guy walking by in the last panel, with Thor.

Nope, comic strips don’t mess with my mind. The “B.C.” comic strip like the “Wizard of Id” comic strip has a lot of stuff in it that never happened or existed at the actual time period of the strip.
There is no such thing as “cartoon reality;” especially when the cartoon has no connection with real life.
The TV show, “Survivor” is a reality game show; but, it has no connection with a person being a survivor in real life in the places where the shows take place.

Yep, looks like a typical day at CAL-TRANS (here in California) to me.
Another typical day is 4 guys standing around holding up a shovel, while the 5th is sweeping all the dirt up.
Ya know?
