Johnny Hart’s classic strip, B.C., puts a caveman twist on everything. From philosophical ants to punny bits of unconventional wisdom, you’ll see why this strip has been a favorite for so many years.

I didn’t know anteaters could swim - mind you, they do have a built-in snorkle.

This is an offshoot of the species. It’s called an uncleater.

Obviously these guys never watched “Them!” - I learned while watching that movie that ants breathe through their sides. Diving into the water would’ve drowned them!

That aquatic anteater sure is excited to see them.
Maybe it’s just Kingyo no fun.

Ants never like to swim in the water; otherwise, they would be drowning instantly!

Reminds me of Tiger (voiced by the late Dom DeLuise, 1933-2009) from “An American Tail: Fievel Goes West” running to catch the train Fievel’s family are on going westbound while being chased by dogs. He jumps off the speeding train because of an onboard dog and into a lake. After he hits the floor, a DOG fish barks at him.

If they are fireants could they have run into a lake of fire and not get burned? Just wandering.
Now they are creed ants in clear water who need some help on the revival part.
