Johnny Hart’s classic strip, B.C., puts a caveman twist on everything. From philosophical ants to punny bits of unconventional wisdom, you’ll see why this strip has been a favorite for so many years.

That’s Curls for you: looking for a cloud behind every silver lining.

This is where Curls and Eeyore (from Winne The Pooh) should get together and write a song. I miss his “show me” jokes the late Johnny Hart used to do.

He can have our rain if we can trade for the sun and cool breeze.

“I’m only happy when it rains” by Garbage - but I prefer “who’ll stop the rain” by CCR.

I of course am to young to remember Who’ll Stop the Rain and only heard it on the oldie station or my grandmother singing it BUT I seem to remember it was one of Fogety”s many anti-war songs.

Sounds like Curls is describing the weather conditions here - minus the breeze. I’m not complaining tho I’m on vacation - yahoo!!!

there was a soul tune called “i wish it would rain” about a guy who wanted to cry for a lost love, if i remember correctly, and wanted the rain to hide his tears. i don’t remember who recorded it, however.

“I Can’t Stand the Rain” foget the original, but covered by Tina
“Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” CCR
