That spider may be too small to wield sticks and stones, but he most certainly has a way with names.

Satire and parody are protected under copyright law as free speech. That’s why cartoonists can get away with tribute strips such as this.

The spider accepted what John, the turtle offended. Now the spider offends John, the turtle back. That makes even.

Graffiti spider-style.
The only spider I like is the one in ‘Rocky Balboa’. The small ones I prefer to squish if possible, outrun otherwise.

Some turtle!

Hey, I never realized it was a turtle. I thought it was a guy hiding in a cave.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

EMET – Yes, John’s a turtle. Now you know how I felt when I realized Jerry from The Dinette Set’s “hat” was actually a toupee (after quite a few years of reading the strip.)
I still see it as a poorly-drawn hat.
BTW – great avatar! Yay, Pens!
Super Bowl, check.
Stanley Cup, check.
World Series……..nah, not gonna happen! LOL

I like the spider in the movie “Ruthless People”. So funny. Ya gotta be ruthless.
