The difference between a lousy pun and a great one is the person listening to it.

I heard an interesting word on TV yesterday: metahumor, that is, humor about humor. Good example here.
Will the lousy puns ever stop? They had their chance to end it when Johnny Hart died. Now that that B.C. is a family business, there is no reason the lousy puns can’t go on forever. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up to the reader.

Any pun is worth the effort to set it up.

His brother may be over a harness, but until he wins back his snail, he’s over the barrell.

Its a visual pun and the best puns are measured in numbers of groans, not laughs….

Puns used to be the lowest form of humor. Then B.C. came along.

If I could just draw….
This site is how I am breaking a 15 year stimulant habit. I don’t think its working. My brain is more stimulated trying to think of stuff than it was on 16 cups of coffee a day.
But as a former DARE officer, I am just saying ‘I am taking a long break’ from drugs.

Since the little guy has red hair in the color version and since he otherwise looks (and talks) like B.C., I’m assuming he’s B.C….perhaps after a recent encounter with Brewster Rockit’s shrink ray. :)
Great…as if his intellect wasn’t small enough. ;)
(Sorry, B.C., I love ya, but you’re not the roundest wheel in Thor’s shop.)
