When they made B.C., they broke the mold, but when they made Wiley, they left the mold on…

I have read this comic since the beganning and always admired ,”Hart’s” wit. Hart I feel would not do a strip like this so it’s ,”goodbye” to B.C. Similar to the mice in overboard it seems as if the authors run out of steam. Nice to have read B.C. for so long yet nevermore now.

He should have noticed the difference when he tasted the beer. Domestic beer is thinner and has a bitter taste.

jabo: Johnny Hart, who drew the strip all by himself for many years, died last year, so that would explain why it’s different. As for me, and many others, it’s been refreshing to see B.C. take on many previously untouchable ideas without interjecting offensive Christian propaganda. BTW, I believe it’s Johnny Hart’s son(s) who are doing the strip now.

I know a bartender who would mop up the bar with a rag, wring it into a glass, set it on the bar saying “House drink!”
