    Love the expression of existential angst in the first panel.

    I hit 60 twelve days ago. To celebrate, my body gave me some new pain in the left side of my ribcage. Wonderful.

    And in a couple of years all those childhood and young adult injuries that healed and you forgot about are going to start coming and knocking on the door. Hi, remember me?

    I turn 60 in July. Hey, it’s the new forty; at least that’s what I tell myself. (I love when I think some young chick is digging me, and then she calls me sir.Well I can dream) By the way I’m one of those quack chiropractors. Go see the movie “Doctored”; that should change your opinion.

    I’m not particularly keen on non-evidence based medicine, so I would never see a chiropractor.
    If you need to see a medical practitioner, visit your local GP and then a physiotherapist.

    There is more research supporting chiropractic than medicine for most conditions that chiropractors treat.The whole “scientific” based thing is BS. Only 15% of procedures done by MDs have any science behind them, and often that is slanted because the research is done by the pharmacy company that has a vested interest. The AMA was found guilty of conspiracy in the 1980’s for trying to eliminate chiropractic.(The Wilk trial) They, and the pharmacy industry have duped you with their constant propaganda. Watch how many drug ads are on during the news. You think the news organizations are going to bite the hand that feeds them? See Doctored.

    The AMA and the pharmacy industry are hand in hand. They are like a huge powerful trade union. They don’t want anyone telling you that it is possible to get well without them.

    @J. Short

    Really? I went to an MD and he gave me a pill. That didn’t help so he gave me another pill. I had to get a pill to counteract the other pill.
    Just joking. Got an appointment with my chiropractor at 16:15 today.

    Not “You understand your parents better.” You better understand your parents. If you know what’s good for you.

    It’s already started. About 15 years ago, I broke my right heel. Took about 2 months but it healed fine (no pun intended). Now, there are days when all I do is limp.

    An apple a day really does keep the doctors away. No kidding! And, I take offense at J.Short’s jab at “pharmacy.” Maybe he meant “pharmaceutical.” Big difference. Pharmacists know all too well the dangers of drugs/drug interactions… spent 4+ years learning all the in’s and out’s of that… and are spending our careers watching for it/warning docs/warning patients. Just sayin’. No offense toward chiropractors, in general. I’ve known good ones. I’m an integrative pharmacist and recommend folks to alternative practitioners whenever appropriate.
