    When my cat meows at me, I meow back at her. We have conversations. As far as I can tell she says she appreciates my efforts, but my accent is terrible.

    My wife does not hear the purring but always hears my complaining. Then comes the question “why not block it out?” and then the comment - “he’s so cute!” #&*+ (cats rule).
