Barney -- J. Barnard Pillsbury -- is the billionaire founder and CEO of Pillsbury Pharmaceuticals. Barney thinks he has it all: power, wealth, a pampered existence with a statuesque trophy wife – until he meets Clyde Finster, an intelligent, entertaining (and possibly crazy) street person. Clyde's satisfaction with his circumstance surprises and confounds Barney, whose success in life has been hard-fought and won. For Clyde, Barney's acceptance is validation of a life lived without compromise.

She’s more than just a dumb-blonde trophy wife.

Yes, it is an apostrophe after the name. Hubby was going to say Lucretia’s a…, but everyone else beat him to it.

Slangy contraction of “Lucretia is”

Poor Lucretia. Years of hiding how smart she actually is to be accepted as an ornamental beauty shot to pieces because of quickly blurted the correct answers from a very rapid bit of math. Of course, we have seen how intelligent she was in the past from her dealings with other people. Maybe she was hiding the fact that she was a lightening calcualtor because she was treated like a freak in grade school for this ability.

Maybe she’s Canadian.

Reminds me of the reporter in the film “Cloudy with a chance of Meat Balls.” She hides her intelligence because of the sexist people at her work. Such people aren’t generally welcomed ni our culture.
