Barney -- J. Barnard Pillsbury -- is the billionaire founder and CEO of Pillsbury Pharmaceuticals. Barney thinks he has it all: power, wealth, a pampered existence with a statuesque trophy wife – until he meets Clyde Finster, an intelligent, entertaining (and possibly crazy) street person. Clyde's satisfaction with his circumstance surprises and confounds Barney, whose success in life has been hard-fought and won. For Clyde, Barney's acceptance is validation of a life lived without compromise.

Is Dwayne getting paid to tell corny jokes while at work?

GW’s doing it again, not giving us any credit. Strip would have been much more effective with the third panel deleted. Then, give Foxie her existing punchline in the new third panel, but in normal font and especially without the quotes. And finally, have her walk away silently in the fourth panel, with semi-comprehending look on Dwayne’s face. You’re welcome.

Duane should just man up and ask her out instead of telling stupid jokes.
