Barney -- J. Barnard Pillsbury -- is the billionaire founder and CEO of Pillsbury Pharmaceuticals. Barney thinks he has it all: power, wealth, a pampered existence with a statuesque trophy wife – until he meets Clyde Finster, an intelligent, entertaining (and possibly crazy) street person. Clyde's satisfaction with his circumstance surprises and confounds Barney, whose success in life has been hard-fought and won. For Clyde, Barney's acceptance is validation of a life lived without compromise.

Is this a rerun? Xers are in their 30s and 40s now.

this strip is only a couple of years old… so is is not like it is a re-run the way Peanuts is… but you are right about Xers being in their 30s and 40s (the term generally includes people born from the early 1960s through the early 1980s, usually no later than 1981 or 1982)

According to an article in the VAPilot 2011/06/08 the generations are as follows:
1920>1945 Traditionalist (older siblings to,or parents of):
1946>1964 Baby Boomers
1965>1980 Gen X
1981>1997 Millennials (Gen Y)
1997> Gen NEXT…but TEXT is good too.
