Barkeater Lake is the fake story of the real Delores Tanzini's move from the Metropolitan NY area to the rural tree infested town of Barkeater Lake, located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State. Looking for peace and quiet from the loud and war-torn city, she finds herself smack in the middle of completely different brand of crazy.

Oh those pesky bears! If they’re not tearing up your garbage, they’re pushing the Amway!

The bears not only sell Amway, they’re also Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mr. Pandolph, tjhe subtitle banner has me confused. Shouldn’t it read, “The fake story of real people living IN a fake town”?

Blue,
Nice catch! I’ll fix and resend to the GoComics people.
Obviously some sort of conspiracy against me, as I NEVER make spelling and grammar mistakes…
(cough)

Maybe if they did something noisy and energetic it would scare animals away.
Let’s see - what could they do that would be noisy and energetic…
The plane’s a write-off, anyway, so Barnes wouldn’t need to get new seat covers…

Yoo-hoo, Sugie63! Would you like to hear about Joseph Smith, modern-day prophets and apostles, the Book of Mormon: another testament of Jesus Christ, etc. on whatever else I believe in? It’s no charge at all.

Yes, I’m of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints –which is commonly known as the “Mormons”– here, my fellow GoComics.com readers.

No thanks, maaannnnnnn, I am a firm believer in the fact that Mormons are really a cult religion, and they will change the story of whatever they are telling you to suit the believer into getting them to join the cult. My wife was forced to join the Mormons in order to marry her first husband, who flaunted his male dominance over her using his “belief” to bully. She got tired of the cheating SOB and divorced his fat ass!
You really do not want to hear any more from me on the subject, so shut up.

I read the Book of Mormon. Thought it was written by Carlos Castanata
