“Ready or not, here I come,” was my first thought.

Mildred ignores him, as is her typical practice.

If Perry doesn’t move pretty soon, he’ll need Mildred’s help to straighten up.

You know that ahem…….. little problem with the sausage hut would not have happened were it not for the bad luck of the refrigeration going out in the refrigeration truck.

The yak soup was wonderful. I could use a wee snack before bedtime. I’d love some of that yak loaf. It looks delicious. And a couple of ‘nanner daiquiris sounds like just what the Dr. ordered. He said that my cold will last a week but if I drink plenty of daiquiris it’ll only last 7 days.

The look on Digger’s face is precious. He looks like he’s in 7th heaven! I think we should start thinking about a wedding and reception. I’d love to have it at the farmhouse. Plenty of room there for all the guests to run around and lots of trees to sniff. Of course Zeke will be invited, and Stormy’s wild turkeys and buffaloes and whatever else she has wandering around the lighthouse.

We can have treats in little plastic bags that can be used later for …….. well, you know………picking up after the guests. We can have a pinata filled with milk bones, dingos, snausages, and cubed cheddar. Just think, soon we’ll have a litter of puppies and ………… Well, I’m getting ahead of myself aren’t I? Well, at least I’m getting ahead of Digger, he hasn’t even popped the question yet………….

Bev…. the wedding plans could be a little premature….
if Wanda is hanging around the Tiki for a different reason….
    I mean, you know….

As for yak loaf…. the double platter is the best deal, especially with the daiquiris….

But you can get a regular plate, a lunch size plate, a yak loaf and eggs breakfast (all served 24 hours) or a yakloaf sandwich on my “home” made bread.

And of course, the regular menu is extensive, as well…. yak, non-yak, even vegetarian….
    but no broccoli.
    Monkey’s orders.

You mean Wanda might have the hots uh, I mean be interested in Fenton? And she’s leading poor Digger on like that? Oh, well, I mean, I know she’s just doing her job, but you can see how extra special it is for him. Poor fella.

You recon I could get a kids plate? Just a slice of yak loaf and some grapes and a nanner shake? That’s all I feel like anyway. And then I’ll be on my way back to the farmhouse.
