My first thought was Ronald Regan’s quote from “King’s Row” …..
“Where’s the rest of me.”
Just hope Sophie doesn’t see a squirrel!

Poor Sophie is so embarrassed. Look how she has her head down so she doesn’t have to see her friends in the Ballard Street Barking Bitch Brigade laughing at her.

You’re so right. Her tail isn’t even wagging. :(

Well, it’s embarrassing for Sophie.
Head down, tail up….
Fred’s position, in the dog world, is playful and submissive.
It means “Don’t worry, I’m no danger to you.”
Sophie’s on a leash….. so she herself looks surrendered to the least macho man on the street.
Where is the proud leader of the pack she longs to follow.
In their house, that’s Mrs. Chambers.

You’re right, Ling….
Lucky for Fred he’s not trying that posture in the Big House.
And that there aren’t any 6 foot tall dogs on Ballard Street.

Hello Susan, how are you this evening? One quick nightcap and I’m off, got a busy day later…lol almost said tomorrow but its today. Not sure why it reminded me of the song, but on seeing him walking there it did…..

I’m well, thanks, Red… you?
I think it’s OK to say “tomorrow” before bedtime, even if that bedtime is part of “today” for some people.
Cos otherwise I get up the same day I went to bed!
Fenton, I think that man needs a scotch.
You know the kind.

I’m well thanks and you are right of course about both the Glenfiddich and the time thing…lol. Thanks and Cheers!

It’s on me tonight, Red.
I think my bar tab is still in the black, in spite of being away this past weekend.
