    I’m cooking up a big batch of traditional Cajun good luck New Years Day food for ya’ll ! It’ll be ready about noon at the Tiki Bar.
    Gotta have Black Eyed Peas for Health, Pork for Luck and Cabbage and Collard Greens for Prosperity.
    Nouvelle année joyeuse !

    Why? Is anything wrong?

    @Affi

    No, not really. Just look at my first post here. See the little square thing? That means I posted a pic too small to see, I think. Anyway, I most certainly did not put that there. I actually typed the word help there. I typed help there twice. I saw it before I clicked submit! That’s all. A minor, but very surprisingly weird frustration. The important things are all fine!

    @Ling

    Well, this is the first I knew about the Cabbage and Collard Greens! We always have black eyed peas and ham and cornbread. No wonder our finances are in the condition they are! Damn. wish I had known! Anyway, I’ll bring a big batch of cornbread. Some plain and some with chopped jalapenos and cheese. Um, better make plenty of those greens!

    Good Morning / Night All ! I’m headed home to cook up a bunch of New Years Day dishes, which I’ll be bringing by later.
    As the Irish would say:
    In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship and never in need.
    And…
    May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the
    happiest day of your past.
