Today’s toon made this come to mind. Lost In A Daydream
At least Neal doesn’t look very connected to reality!

Too much birthday cake and booze?

It’s no wonder Neal has to resort to imaginary friends. Neal is the most annoying guy on Ballard
street. How soon do we forget
Remember now?

Oh yeah. He deliberately plans to be annoying as hell. Someone needs to teach him a good lesson!

We could deploy a canine SWAT team to run in, grab those fake people and run off with them. What do ya think?

Neal is despicable and irritating, but so are
these guys

Well, have you had any of Dry’s birthday cake yet? Have some, it’s delicious and it goes great with a ‘nanner daiquiri. But as I recall ’nanner daiquiris aren’t your thing. Want a piece of cake and a beer? ugh
Essex60 said, 5 months ago
@beviek
What do you mean-“ugh”. Cake goes well with a cold pilsner. Ya just have to keep the right consumption ratio going.

Ha! I still say ugh. For me not much goes well with beer. Popcorn is good. Fried fish. Hmmm, that’s all I can think of right now. Most everything goes well with a margarita or white wine. Maybe even cake with the white wine. Never tried that. And I shudder to think of drinking beer without some food to wash it down.
Now……….. I’ve thoroughly disgraced myself, haven’t I?
In that case I’ll go ‘all the way’ and state I only drink light beers. Much to my hubbys horror and embarrasment.
