    Hahaha…………….

    If Barry doesn’t move along pretty quick, that dog is going to launch himself at him and take a big bite of that butt!

    Looks like he’s at the proper stealth crotch sniffing height.

    ……………………………………
    Barry has his attache’ case positioned strategically…….. he’s safe for now, from the front, but that butt is just hangin’ out there!

    Hey Red, I’ll join you in a final tipple, then I’m off to never-never land. Been a long and somewhat depressing day.

    I would think Monkey’s slippers to be like mittens to accomodate the “foot thumb”.

    The weather here was quite pleasant and warm. It’s 23:50 MDT, and still only two trick or treaters.

    @BRI-NO-MITE!!

    It’s now 1:53 EDT and I’mm off to join Wynken, Blynken , and Nod.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    Wynken, Blynken, and Nod one night
    Sailed off in a wooden shoe —
    Sailed on a river of crystal light,
    Into a sea of dew.
    “Where are you going, and what do you wish?”
    The old moon asked the three.
    “We have come to fish for the herring fish
    That live in this beautiful sea;
    Nets of silver and gold have we!”
    Said Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

    The old moon laughed and sang a song,
    As they rocked in the wooden shoe,
    And the wind that sped them all night long
    Ruffled the waves of dew.
    The little stars were the herring fish
    That lived in that beautiful sea —
    “Now cast your nets wherever you wish —
    Never afeard are we”;
    So cried the stars to the fishermen three:
    Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

    All night long their nets they threw
    To the stars in the twinkling foam —
    Then down from the skies came the wooden shoe,
    Bringing the fishermen home;
    ‘Twas all so pretty a sail it seemed
    As if it could not be,
    And some folks thought ’twas a dream they’d dreamed
    Of sailing that beautiful sea —
    But I shall name you the fishermen three:
    Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

    Wynken and Blynken are two little eyes,
    And Nod is a little head,
    And the wooden shoe that sailed the skies
    Is a wee one’s trundle-bed.
    So shut your eyes while mother sings
    Of wonderful sights that be,
    And you shall see the beautiful things
    As you rock in the misty sea,
    Where the old shoe rocked the fishermen three:
    Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

    Aw…. all you East Coasters are dropping off like flies….
    still early for me….

    Even if we’re all at the Tiki I guess we’re used to our “home” time zones…
    So g’night Linguist….

    Hope tomorrow dawns brighter…

    So nice here by the fire!
    In spite of my earlier chill, it’s warm enough that banana daiquiris seem just right…
    In a couple of minutes, I gotta go load the grinder for another round, though.

    Bri, from yesterday….
    sorry, I didn’t remember discussing our relative ages…

    Not that I’m ancient…
    I can still call myself a baby boomer.
    I was thinking “A Charlie Brown Christmas” was the first Peanuts special…. and that was 1965, I believe.

    Was the gReat Pumpkin one first?
    Guess I should Google it.
