Lowell is just the excitable type…
some people are simply born full of high jinks and excess energy…
luckily Lowell has an understanding partner who would rather replace a lamp every now and then than a husband.

Hmmm….. why does that remind me of a recent candidate for sheriff?

Monkey! I did not mean to crush your dreams…
if you truly WANT to run for Sheriff you know I’ll help.

    I’m just not sure you’d be comfortable…
not making “deals” for yak meat…
sticking around Ballard St. when the goat is nagging you to go trekking…
having to take a bath every single week…
or having to arrest yourse… er, rustlers and other varmints… and throw…“them”… in jail.

I want to see a happy monkey, that’s all.

x_Tech…. haven’t had a chance to make any “deposits” in the “comment bank” yet.
So kind of you to be the guardian of that.

I can see that you took great care to post Mrs. Beviek’s words astutely.
Gave me confidence to trust you with mine…

though for the nonce, I’m here to post them myself.
    Perhaps Monday and Tuesday, though.

    As for Ms. Beviek ..
StelBel! Did she really tell you I couldn’t see her Ballard Street yearbooks?

Just because I once mentioned a very valuable edition…. with some pictures of…. never mind…
and just because I have been known to deal in antiques and collectibles…
and know some out of town buyers…

Is that a reason to think I would pilfer from my (formerly) very good friend (and partner in turkey pot pies)?

    Hmmmph!
Anyhow, Stel… I haven’t had time to get back to you on your kind investment offer….
but I am more inclined than ever to discuss it.
Perhaps over tea and turkey sandwiches…
    say 3-ish?

Well, I see beviek is spot on, as usual — her normal, witty self. Well, it’s like she’s not really away at all! Now, for the time being, shall we address all correspondance to beviek c/o you, x_Tech ?

I can so relate to Lowell and his surplus energy! My personal record is 3 days, 14 hours and 32 minutes……… in my new clown suit!

@Sherif (dem aint goobers!!) Munkyblues What time can we go to Mrs. Bev ‘s? I really need her snickerdoodle recipe, since my effort at trying to figure it out was a abyssmal failure…

SS, I cannot betray her confidence in me. End of discussion.

Uh, is that 3-ish Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific (assuming continental U.S. time zones)? 3-ish Eastern works for me. Perhaps you can help me figure it out from there?

( BTW: how much do you think that yearbook is worth, between you and me, you understand? Maybe………! )
