Hahaha, Gary, I’m really sorry, but I think this Experimental Hat has failed. But what the heck, you can’t win em all. Don’t give up trying. I just know the next one will be a doozy!! Perhaps something with a few peacock feathers?

I share your dismay at Gary’s newest creation. I’d have to call it a flop. It’ll go over like a lead balloon.

Gary is not being too hard on himself, he knew he fell way short this week in meeting his own high expectations (as well as the other members) of winning the weekly award for “Experimental Hat of the Week”… what with spending all his time relocating 14 yurts for Ms Bev and all… He was actually hoping she would reward him with a snicker doodle… Perhaps after the parade on Monday? Focus Gary..!!! He knows he risks ridicule this week for not putting forth his usual over the top effort… And it shows… Is it too late to call Sid and tell him not to pick him up…?? Sudden stomach virus from that yak sausage..??? It has been making its rounds on BS lately and that Monkey fella, well he’s the one to blame for… Oh CRAP… There’s Sid…!!!!

Without a royal treasury at one’s disposal, it’s just SO darn hard to beat Princess Beatrice of York at the hat game….

Hot off the B.S. undercover newswire….
Even as I doze in my chair…. halfway around the world, and many time zones away…. the search for Essex60 goes on:
Hope BOTH of you are home in time for Monday’s parade.

StelBel and Beviek — glad you like the song…. thanks.
Stel, I can see why you fell for BatPug’s story.
Bev — do you think we can keep him sober till Monday?
Gosh…. we have so much to do, and I keep forgetting Ballard St. is closed off to through traffic on Sundays…
It’s way past my bedtime, in the wee hours of Saturday morning….
but I’ll do my best to come back and set some things up in the afternoon.
Meanwhile parade entrants keep showing up out of nowhere!
