You all know my favourite cookie, but here’s something I found that I think is a bit different, and I just might try them myself.From: From: Company’s Coming (Breads)Published and distributed by: Company’s Coming Publishing LimitedEdmonton, Alberta, CanadaI.S.B.N. 1-895455-09-X Oatmeal Crackers Rolled oats 1 cup 250 mLAll-purpose flour 1 cup 250 mLWhole wheat flour 1 cup 250 mLGranulated sugar 1/4 cup 60 mLBaking soda 1/2 tsp. 2 mLButter or hard margarine, melted 1/2 cup 125 mLSour cream or yogurt 1/2 cup 125 mL Stir first 5 ingredients together in medium bowl.Add butter and sour cream to flour mixture.Mix.Roll as thin as you can on lightly floured surface.Cut in strips 1 × 3 inch (2.5 × 7.5 cm) in size.Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.Prick with fork in several places.Bake in 350°F (175°C) oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.Makes 10 1/2 dozen. Note from me. General experience tells me to keep a close eye on them from the 8 minute mark.
