    Methinks Sergio needs a better filing cabinet; that’s quite a paper weight.

    Bought a nice scanner/copier with the intent of scanning my newspaper comics archive

    Hadn’t thought through the massive time it would take to scan and save over 300,000 comics, and I’m not very tech oriented

    Maybe when I retire

    54,750 documents (If Papi is not exaggerating. There might be 30 or 60 more depending on leap years.)

    If he takes care of them at the rate of one a day after they’ve been scanned in, he’d have to live for another 150 years and maybe one or two days.

    Just how many important documents do you need to keep that won’t expire with the next issue of the important document?

    And then the server crashes or he switches to a phone that cannot access it.

    @Doctor Toon

    “Maybe when I retire” Good luck, Doc. No plan survives a family. I learned that as a single guy with lots of married friends. :-)

    Tedious is tedious. Retired or not.
    (If someone would make a scanner that attached to a carousel, maybe I’d get these slides all scanned).
