    Sergio’s not going to like this. Why? Because 1) he wasn’t invited to a sugary ice cream treat to help his diabetes a little, 2) he’ll have a bill from the credit card company and 3) he’ll have no electricity in his house.

    He’s going with a fraud angle this week. Just read yesterdays’ strip…

    The fraudsters learned their lesson from talking to Sergio, apparently.

    Wasn’t this the theme of yesterday’s Herb & Jamaal?

    @TEMPLO S.U.D.

    If it were the electric company the family would have received a notice and would know they are behind. I’m sure she knows that all the bills are taken care of.

    I’m glad this scam is getting some publicity—we just had an elderly woman in our town bilked out of her life savings by a phone scammer. If they called you and you wondered if it really was the utility, or the cops, or whoever, hang up and call them back (and not at the number the scammer gave you!)

    We’ve got place here that charges about $6.00 for one scoop on a waffle cone. The rich out of town folk flock there. But that would buy a couple of pints of Haagen-Dazs.
