Baldo: Thanks for calling, how can I help you? Customer: Do you have squash? Baldo: No, I'm sorry. This is an auto supply store. Customer: Look, if you're out, just tell me! Baldo: But we're always out! Customer: You're a lousy grocery store.
I get this about once a month. I work mids and about 03:00 a.m. or so I’ll get a call asking if a person’s Direct Deposit is going to be on time, or someone reporting a lost or stolen credit card. But I work for a magazine subscription service and we don’t handle direct deposits or reports of credit card problems.
As a member of the IS Department I have even less to do with those issues than our Customer Service people who have been gone for hours by the time I get the calls.
