Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

I think my daughter stretches hers out just to avoid the dishes.

Ask her to show you how much homework they assign now. It is insane compared to what we had in school. She does not have to stretch it out.

My kindergardener has homework every Mon thru Wend and some times on Thurs.

That’s ridiculous. What kind of homework could a kindergartener even have?
comicsssfan said, 4 months ago
Well if he doesn’t do it now it will be a misspent adulthood as he tries to learn it then.

There is a school of thought about learning at too young of an age being a detriment. They can get burned out. And then when they hit middle school, sports is stressed over academics in public schools. Middle and high school level is where they should pour on the academics, not elementary or kindergarden. Those bass ackwards incompetents!
