I was right Saturday. Gotta love Tía Carmen’s lengua casserole (though I thought Estella to be an aficionada thereof).

Enough with the lengua trashing already. It can be quite good. Give it a chance.

Gotta wonder, if he wants to make a good impression on her, why did he invite her over for dinner with Tía Carmen’s lengua casserole? That would surly chase her away!

After seeing what are the common ingredients of lengua, I probably could give it a chance with 2 conditions. One, I would have to be very hungry. Second, you do not tell me what it is untill I have eaten it and had a chance to let some of it to digest.

What is wrong with lengua? We have a restaurant that has lengua tacos – they are awesome!

It’s just a running joke like tuna-noodle casserole was on Welcome Back Kotter.

What is Tia Carmen’s recipe for guizo de lengua?
    I can’t find it online.

if you think about it, your are not eating bicep, or triceps, or quads. You are eating steak, roast, etc…. So tongue and brain are very hard to process, But I do have to give up for ribs. They are what the are, but oh so delicious.
