Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

He never loathed her grub, just the fact of her working there at all.

He’s paying her back in the same coin – embarrassment.

LOL My future mother-in-law managed the cafeteria where I attended Jr/Sr HS. We had a very fine relationship before i even knew she had a daughter. She liked to cook, I liked to eat. Best from scratch buttermilk biscuits ever…..and she always saved me some if I had late lunch.
When I walked through the door at my future brides home for the first time…..SURPRISE!!!!!!

Awwww. When my husband first came courting, he looked at my mom and did a double-take, and said, “I didn’t know Nancy was your mom!” That was 34 years ago. My mom’s gone now, but on her deathbed she knew my husband after she didn’t recognize anyone else <3

Also, hurting his health and his future. After a junk food sugar crash he won’t do well at school or work afterwards.
