Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

Isn´t that what his dad is for?

What kind of a teenager is he, sitting in front of the TV all day? Shouldn’t he be in front of the X-Box? :-/

Just another lame attempt by dad to hog the tv all day long.

When you take into account that he witnessed a cashier face-down on the counter after a gunshot years ago, sitting on the couch in front of the TV all day doesn’t sound so bad.

Baldo’s dad sent him outside for the day, said that the commercial on TV are a bad influence. (Ironically enough, there were advertisements posted on the buildings for beer and cigarettes.)
Baldo went to chill at a Quick-E-Food type store with Cruz. They went to ask the cashier how things were, and was shocked to see him face-down on the counter.
Cruz acted dumb and came up with sci-fi ideas to combat the culprit. Baldo said it wasn’t fantasy land, it was real… too real.
Luckily, he survived the wound.
