   In fact, it was revealed recently in the comments (with links to the appropriate date’s strip) that Baldo’s mom was killed in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. Baldo was saved by his soccer ball and Grace was saved by her car seat.

   Baldo really isn’t doing anything wrong as long as he isn’t in a relationship with either girl, he likes them both for different reasons and neither one has given a clear “go” sign that they are interested
   

   
   That said, I am also expecting a disaster ahead as this is Baldo and a comic strip life tends to go that way
