Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

Hey, at least he asked for permission. Mind you, if my kids asked, it would say the same thing. Fortunately, they have both declared tattoos to be something they have no taste for.

It’s a generational thing. At least we could cut our hair when we grew up though. lol

If I had a son and he asked if he could get a tattoo, I’d tell him only if it’s in the same place as my three: 50 cm “up.”

What bugs me about most tattoos I see is they look like you got bored in fifth period study hall and drew on yourself.
And you aren’t very good at it.
My father did three combat landings in the Pacfic, and went back in in the fifties and had two overseas deployments where dependants couldn’t come. Never got a tattoo.
To paraphrase a sweatshirt I once saw, Nitschke never had a tattoo

I couldn’t agree more. The other impression I had was when you see toddlers get into crayons and draw on each other. Another wise person made the observation “a tattoo on a beautiful woman is like a scratch on a Mercedes” or something similar.
