Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

James Dobson once told the story of his mother attending all of his classes with him in what I think was Junior High in response to a teenage disipline problem he had. Net effect was that he no longer had the problem.
It is a wonder what power social embarrassment has in a teenager’s life.

I’m so glad my teen boys never wanted to follow that trend. My boys are 19, 17, 15 and 13 and I don’t have any major problems with them.
