Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

After one severely sprained ankle from falling while trying to get them up about 12 yrs ago I went on strike. “No more #$%!! Lights.”
We haven’t had any since and guess what? Don’t miss them, neighbors don’t care and I have one less thing to stress over.
Besides, there’s one neighbor down the street who gleefully strings enough for the entire town on his house and yard.
If we get desperate we go watch his blink for a while,
calculate what his electric bill must be,
drink some hot cocoa out of a thermos and
go home happy and relaxed.
