Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

My dad was a popular small businessman and people were always bugging him to run for city council
He had two major faults that would have prevented him from ever being successful in politics, he was honest and blunt

An honest person does not belong in politics.

The problem is that we need honest people in politics, but they are too often slandered by opposing candidates and dishonest media, so they rarely get elected.

Get a Flowbee for a DIY haircut, then you don’t have to listen to any of that.

The slander and dishonest media would be overcome if people were to do their own research. Lies succeed because people are too lazy to properly check them out.

I have a strong suspicion that if Domingo’s ‘lots of good ideas’ are implemented, we’re going to need even more to improve our city and make it safer ‘For The Children©’. You want to know how to improve your city and make it safer? Don’t elect democrats.
