Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

This is just the female opposite of those family histories Dagwood tells his kids at times.

In the 1920’s a company called “Tricho” used X-rays through a special tube of their own design to remove unwanted facial hair and blemishes. Unfortunately they didn’t always gage the dose and the training for their operators in franchises was too little. Once they started being sued for disfigurement and worse they were done by 1929 from a massive suit.
