    Why couldn’t Nagisa Furukawa of “Clannad” and Shiori Misaka of “Kanon” think of that? (The coming to school via robot part.)

    Rayna was the the attractive android in the original Star Trek episode, “Requiem for Methuselah”. Rayna Kapec was her full name. (Capek was the last name of the Czech writer that first coined the term ‘robot’ in the 1920 play, “R.U.R.”, btw.)

    This was done in “The Big Bang Theory” a couple of years ago. Sheldon Cooper figured he wouldn’t get sick or injured if he sent one of these bots in his place.

    there was a tv series where a doctor used one because he was home with the flu he could still work from home the other doctors always hid behind it so he couldn’t see them it was funny

    Based upon some of the stuff that goes on in some school systems that makes

    Did the strip skip ahead a couple decades? There isn’t anyone sending a robot to school in their stead – distance learning using virtual classrooms does that for the cost of a desktop computer and internet connection.
