Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

Antonio Banderas filming carreer is in a slump he’s doing comercials(ad nauseam) for “mulino biancho” on italian tv

The greatest Mexican hero is El Santo. I don’t recall Zorro ever defeating an Aztec Mummy.

@Pharmakeus Ubik
You took me down memory lane with your “El Santo” reference. For the unfamiliar, El Santo was a masked Mexican wrestler who branched out into films, making over 60. He battled both regular and supernatural villains (such as the daughter of Frankenstein), and the films were played perfectly straight. Great fun!

I’d love to have Baldo go see a Cheech Marin movie! ;-)

I agree. What happened in The Greater Glory isn’t any different than what the Catholic church did during the inquistion.

For all you racist that think that actors should be picked by their race not their ability there are plenty of latino’s out there for you to watch. Your probably just not aware of it. For example the lead actor in the tv show Phych is a latino.
