I try to NOT think about them.

It’s my first year voting and I resolved not to vote for anyone who trashed another candidate on their campaign site or was obviously crazy or stupid. I honestly ran out of candidates. This is probably why people mindlessly vote with a political party, it lessens the heartache.

    Welcome to adulthood, seyleigh!
I’m marking my 30th year of voting in 2012 and am very proud to have voted in every election (including a special election for a state senate seat in September 2009) since I became eligible to vote in the 1982 primary.
I registered to vote at 17, but my 18th birthday came before the next election.
I often have either held my nose at the person for whom I voted, as the other candidate was even worse, or even skipped that race altogether and voted the rest of the ballot.

Sadly, that’s where I’ve been since I was old enough to vote, too. McCain was the only exception I ever saw as he was mature, didn’t use attack ads, and actually acted like a good leader! Too bad it was the year of the novelty instead of one of the last couple Bush years. :-(

If you don´t vote when you have the chance, you lose your right to complain over the resoult.

I had to wait until I was 21-years-old before I could vote. That gave the government three years to try to kill me first. They missed. My wife missed a major state election by six weeks. Now several states are working to make sure they can’t vote because of college, ethnos, or income.

I can’t believe how accurately this comic captures the true quality of modern political discourse.

Even if you can’t find anyone to vote for, it’s always easy to find someone to vote against!

And that’s just how the GOP nominees talk about each other! ;)
