Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

Ok Baldo, time to study for mid-terms and start planning the Posada (JAD do not give a lecture on this please).

Now if it had been a Bigfoot in a balloon, THAT would have been news.
Potrzebie - I like getting my toon tour done early, so I don’t have to waste so much time scrolling past the foot long posts.

What Federal law requires you folks who hate me and cyber-harass me to read what I post in the 1st place?
The neighbor boy who reported this could have been snooping outside of the house and called the cable news folks when he saw “Big Foot” through the window.
Apparently, the creators of this strip got their idea from the recent fiasco of the boy in the ballon.
Monday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” a segment had Jim Carrey supposedly lost on the studio lot and there was a noise under the steps in the audience area.
It turns out that Carrey was under the steps which had a door in it.

There you go again. There is no FEDERAL LAW requiring us to do this – we do this because WE WANT TO.
Keep your posts short on ON TOPIC. Jim Carrey is NOT on topic.

JAD, I don’t hate you and in fact I may be able to get along with you, except that you ramble a lot, I’m sure that in conversation we could exchnane trivia for trivia. NO offense.

Joe - I don’t hate you either.
I just wish you would learn to make comments like everyone else.
Like TrapperJohn said, short and to the point.
The rambling, and your apparent fascination with yourself, is very tiresome to many of us.

I don’t hate you, JAD, but I think you’re clueless. If you don’t want to be ridiculed, learn why I find you ridiculous, so that you might reform:
It has already been mentioned that your posts ramble. I add that they are also irrelevant, humorless, redundant, pedantic, censorious, and all too often simply misinformed. You have a firm grasp of the commonplace, and take it upon yourself to “explain” the comics at the most rudimentary level, as if the other posters are remedial readers who’ve never been exposed to a joke in their lives. (Hint #1: If nobody says “I don’t get this”, assume everybody does.) You have no sense of irony, or at best a tragically faulty one: In the rare cases when you seem AWARE that a comic strip or comment thereto is not meant to be taken absolutely literally, you feel you have to show how “clever” you are for spotting what is obvious. (Hint #2: Even if somebody DOES say “I don’t get this”, they are often joking.)
You’ve mentioned that you have a Master’s Degree in Education. I suspect that your focus was Elementary Ed, because you sound like you’ve forgotten how to talk to anyone other than 5 year-olds.
Happy Birthday, Howdy Doty.
Thou should’st not have been old till thou hadst been wise.
