Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

and i thought occupant was most common name, that is what i get in my mailbox

But, occupant is not really a proper noun; so, how can it be a common name?
If all of for-profit corporations/companies had to pay regular 1st Class postage for all of their bulk 1st Class USPS mailings, there would no need to raise postage rates nor lay off letter carriers.
I knew a teacher whose last name was “Garcia;” but, she pronounced it as “garsh-ya.” She was a natural blonde, too. We taught in the same little town in Kansas, SW of Wichita.
I knew a guy who was a Mexican-American and a native of Colorado when I was in Vietnam, Rosales jokingly told people his surname was “Row-sails.”

Hum, try not to confuse about both of last names.

You had to bring up the suggestion, Tía Carmen.
I guess with English last names, the common ones are Smith and Jones. Glad I’m not neither one of those.
Also, it’d have to be Hansen and Andersen for common Scandinavian last names.

That page relates to the 1990 census. In 2000, Garcia and Rodriguez moved up to eighth and ninth, respectively:

Heck, I have two nieces and a nephew whose last name is Rodriguez. Didn’t have to tell me that. :)
