Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

That’s okay as long as you don’t use them too many times, reusing plastic that’s supposed to be disposable isn’t always a good idea - it’s supposed to start breaking down.

Of course, I do! I save the plastic bottles for iced tea. I put the iced tea powder in the empty plastic bottle and put it in my ice chest for going to work. At my lunchtime, I pour fresh water in the plastic bottle with iced tea powder and then I shake and drink pleasantly! Also I reuse the utensils. :-) By the way, I really agree with Sergio!

My grandmother was like Papi. She would inspect what we were about to throw away to see if it was really trashworthy.

I reuse disposable plastic tableware several times, that includes the “Party Cups.” I have the gallon flavored drink clear plastic bottles which use to put Kool-Aid or tea in.
By the way, Tupperware and Rubbermaid products created to hold and store food are also plastic. I have quite a few Rubbermaid microwaveable containers.
I wash and refill the plastic water bottles with tap water. I take them when I ride on the bus to drink from when I get thirsty.

I reuse the plates from T.V. dinners, they’re great to reheat meals in the microwave

i agree with reusing the plastic plates, utensils and such, but my late brother in law took it to the extreme. when we cleared his apartment we had 6 35 gallon trash bags full along with about 50 or more butter tubs

Wildmustang1262, if you had said you BREWED tea at home, put it in the plastic bottles and refrigerated them, and THEN took them to work, I’d be impressed. But it would be easies to take the powder to work and put it in a glass than to go through all you do.

Solo cups: most reusability when in college.
