Baldo is our first comic strip that features Latino characters and themes. Baldo lives with his parents and works at Auto Y Rod, Inc., selling car parts. Through his daily exploits in the world of girls, cars, and little sisters, readers will learn just how well they can identify with this teen. Writer Hector Cantú and artist Carlos Castellanos have given us a comic strip whose warmth and gentle humor will appeal to all.

Papi’s almost right Baldo (see yesterday’s strip). You can buy that shell and have $1,863 left to add all those things.

the one papi talks about is perfect , you can rebuild it and actually see the dedication and love that goes into it.

Buy the car that is worth $900 and then buy the parts and etc for reasonable prices to rebuild engine and assembly together instead of buy a whole car that is worth $39,000. That is way tooo much! I agree with Papi.

To reiterate, I “fourth” marg, bald and Wildmustang.
Visit junkyards for the parts needed; you have $1,863 to work with after buying the shell (see yesterday’s strip), and you may actually be able to go a long way towards building a car worth $39,000!
