This is a family cartoon, y’know. There are probably several panels, um, missing, in between there.

There’s more to life than sex. Okay, I’m getting old too.

In reality Arlo was dreaming the conversation because all Janis did was roll over and took up his space.

Since when does anything bother Arlo enough to keep him from a good nights sleep? I’m agreeing with Observer fo Irony. The conversation never took place!

Much as my wife might like me to do this for her right now, and much as I might like to, I can’t: She just had back surgery and I can hardly touch her for a while. In fact, the discharge nurse was even warning me about rolling over in bed and hitting her.

Ouch. My sympathies to both of you. Just wait till she’s all healed!

Has no one noticed that her arm seems to be, well, unattached at the shoulder?
