I’ll bet Janis could turn that squashed pumpkin into a great pumpkin pie!

That’s one way to remove excess pumpkin. Neighborhood kis usually are to blame, tho…

In a couple of weeks, they’ll be removing 8 pounds of excess pumpkin from air cannons and trebuchets in southern Delaware.
“Punkin Chunkin” has become a big thing, especially after it was aired on the Science Channel.
The record for air cannons is about 7/8 of a mile, or more than 4,400 feet.

I like to watch the trebuchets hurl pumpkins. Missed it last year.

Love Janis’ eyes in the 3rd panel! The jack-o-lantern became one with it’s pumpkin.

True: After having pumpkins kicked/stolen by neighbor-hoods; father of a friend resorted to painting concrete lawn ornament pumpkins orange.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a pumpkin symmetrical enough to roll completely off a table. Leave it to Arlo to buy one that was.
