I had to wear glasses most of my life, until cataract surgery made them normal. NO MORE GLASSES!

“That thing about not hitting anyone wearing glasses”………will be soundly ignored and a lot of people wearing Google Glasses will be beaten…..a lot.

Now you can wear the computer. Soon it will be implanted so can upload/download all your thoughts and desires without the need for clumsy interfaces.

We can only hope. Some bars are banning them, and it’s hard to believe any party hosts would allow them.

Bars and parties are the least of my concerns – I want to see them with a built in mechanism to disable them if the wearer gets behind the wheel! Bad enough idjits driving while yakking on handheld phones (despite extant laws) and texting behind the wheel (ditto) without surfing the web while cruising the thruway!

“I lost my Google Glasses and can’t find them anywhere, Oh you found them for me thanks, don’t know how they ended up in the womens locker room, oh look and they’re still on…”

That’s amazing! I’ve worn glasses since 4th grade, I can’t imagine not having to wear them.

How about a story line about Gene, Mary Lou & Meg? I’d like to catch up with them.

Me too, Shyygirl27, and simpsonfan2! 4th grade to age 57, absolutely blind-as-a-bat! Had cataract surgery 2 years ago, and now I have only a very weak pair of reading glasses. It’s heaven! (And everyone gets cataracts Shyygirl, if they live long enough – so you can look forward to good vision!)

And we wonder why self-centrism is reaching a new high. Why anyone would have the slightest interest or take the time to go to the internet to see what I’m looking at is beyond me.

Same here. I will always have to wear them. (I don’t like contact lenses.)
