I had to wear glasses most of my life, until cataract surgery made them normal. NO MORE GLASSES!

“That thing about not hitting anyone wearing glasses”………will be soundly ignored and a lot of people wearing Google Glasses will be beaten…..a lot.

Now you can wear the computer. Soon it will be implanted so can upload/download all your thoughts and desires without the need for clumsy interfaces.

We can only hope. Some bars are banning them, and it’s hard to believe any party hosts would allow them.

That’s amazing! I’ve worn glasses since 4th grade, I can’t imagine not having to wear them.

How about a story line about Gene, Mary Lou & Meg? I’d like to catch up with them.

Me too, Shyygirl27, and simpsonfan2! 4th grade to age 57, absolutely blind-as-a-bat! Had cataract surgery 2 years ago, and now I have only a very weak pair of reading glasses. It’s heaven! (And everyone gets cataracts Shyygirl, if they live long enough – so you can look forward to good vision!)

And we wonder why self-centrism is reaching a new high. Why anyone would have the slightest interest or take the time to go to the internet to see what I’m looking at is beyond me.

I went from intensely nearsighted with astigmatism to slightly farsighted. I still need to have my computer screen within about a foot, but that’s because the normal distance is slightly too far for my reading glasses, but not quite far enough to see clearly without them. Still, not having to wear very thick and heavy glasses all the time is great! If any of you are even considering cataract surgery, stop waiting and have it done as soon as your doctor says you’re ready!

    Thank you!

    How do you always remember???

And…. have you been peeking at me in the garden?
How did you know my tomatoes are my babies?
(Not yet born, of course, this year.)

You need to tell me YOUR birthday…
I always feel bad that I don’t reciprocate.
    Here or on Agnes….
or if you get a chance, please go back to the June 6th 2006 Agnes forum.

    It’ll be one day soon…
I was told I wasn’t quite ready two years ago.
