Cats are a lot more reasonable than we give them credit for…It’s not their fault they have been put in charge of us…They do the best they can…Um, gotta go…one of my cat’s wants something…Sure it will probably take a while to figure out what it is exactly….But that’s my job…That’s what they keep me around for……

Arlo is feeding his cat store brand, inexpensive food instead of gourmet food.
So your reason is you don’t want something you have to feed?
You don’t want something that will like the inexpensive food?
I just don’t “get” what your reason #409 actually is. Maybe you just don’t want something that will love you unconditionally, or that you will need to take time out of your life to be responsible for.
