    @Ken Warner

    You would have to work on remembering it. And maybe write it down and hide in a place you won’t forget. And would be hard to find.

    I like to use famous names and replace the a’s, o’s and s’s with @, 0 and $ amongst others and seldom forget the password. Now what was that name again??? grrr…

    I go with famous quotations, using the first letter of each word, and any numbers that might be included, for example, “I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country.” becomes – IortIhb1ltgfmc

    I use a simple, easy to remember word and get my Dictionary of 26 Languages in Simultaneous Translation and choose a language at random.

    Be sure to leave a note by the computer telling you where you hid the password…………………….

    I added them up. I have 28 different passwords for work. All are 14 character minimum and most have to be changed every 90 – 120 days.
    Don’t write them down. Yeah right.

    I’ve simplified it a little bit by having 1 easy-to-remember probably not very strong password just for all the sites I don’t CARE whether somebody hacks….

    Rock out — read my newspapers, peruse my TV listings, and look at my other comics page, on a site with no forums.

    It even accesses an ancient web-mail address somewhere, if it hasn’t been closed,
    but since I haven’t checked it in 10 years, and don’t remember what site … feel free to read all the forwarded jokes from 1999.

    Meanwhile, Gokie, I tried to answeryou yesterday <—- about Bizarro.

    How many houses on how many streets have you lived in? You could start with one street number and street name and bingo you have an alpha numeric password that you CAN remember. Start with your childhood house and work forward to your next house. Use that and then the next, etc.

    Yea never write down your password. Hah. I have so many different places to sign into at work ; and the password has to change every 90 days ; if I didn’t write it down I’d be lost.
