Since it seems Arlo only wears red shirts and blue pants,
    it makes it easy!.

I’ll try that approach in my basement. Nothing else has worked….

It’s the Male Brain in action.

90% of the women reading today’s strip will think it’s ridiculously exaggerated.
90% of the men reading it will think “I should try that.”

Start with the clothes in the back of the closet. The stuff you never wear. Save any special clothes for dress up functions like weddings and funerals. The rest goes to Good Will or its equivalent.

Well, it duplicates the end result of using Janis’s method without the investment in thought.

This is so funny because it’s so true to life.

I have actually cleanend out my husbands part of the closet though. I took out what I didn’t think he’d want. Put it in a bag and put the bag at the back of the closet. I waited 3 years and hearning no complaints gave them to Salvation Army. Got a bag "ripening for the 2nd year in the closet now! ;)

I always put clean clothes in at the right of the closet. Then, as clothes get taken out to be worn, the remaining clothes move to the left. After a period of time, the clothes that I never wear accumulate at the left of the closet.

Another method is to turn around the hangers. Start with all the hooks turned around so it’s more difficult to get them off the rod. As clothes are worn and washed, put them back with the hangers the easy way. After a few months, it will be easy to see which clothes you don’t like or wear.
